Installation

Download and save the Jibebuy WordPress Plugin.

WordPress Dashboard Upload

  1. From your WordPress Dashboard, choose, Plugins->Add New, then click Upload
  2. Use the Choose File and Install Now buttons to upload and install jibebuy-wordpress-plugin-x.x.x.zip

FTP Upload

  1. Upload jibebuy-wordpress-plugin-x.x.x.zip to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Expand jibebuy-wordpress-plugin-x.x.x.zip (extracted files should be in /wp-content/plugins/jibebuy)

Plugin Configuration and Use

  1. From your WordPress Dashboard, choose, Plugins->Installed Plugins
  2. Locate the Jibebuy plugin and choose its Activate link
  3. To place a Jibebuy list into any of your Posts or Pages:
  4. In your WordPress Dashboard, create or edit a Post or Page
  5. In the editor, click the Text tab to reveal code
  6. Insert either of the Jibebuy Shortcodes as shown below:

[jibebuy_list_choices share_url="http://www.jibebuy.com/lists/myusername/my-share-list-name"]

Where the value of share_url is the URL you find in Jibebuy under Share via URL. The following additional shortcode options are supported:
  • max_choices: Used to limit the number of choices returned. For example, use max_choices='10' to limit output to 10 choices.
  • hashtags: Comma separated list of hashtags used to filter the choices returned.
